Mountain Park Health Center is developing a new clinic on an existing 6+/- acre site in Tempe, Arizona. The property was developed prior and it’s most recent use was a boat manufacturing and repair facility. The existing building structure is remaining and being modified by the architectural team to facilitate a 33,000 square foot single-story health clinic operation. Vespro assisted the development team with analysis of the site for alternate layout options and preliminary design development approvals. After project negotiations with the City of Tempe, full construction documents were prepared to redevelop a majority of the site to facilitate the new layout, including new grading and drainage design, paving, as well as water and sewer services and main relocations. Additional coordination efforts were involved with the City of Tempe and Salt River Project (SRP) to defer relocation of major adjacent electrical facilities. The project is expected to create a new local community hub with gathering areas for local music, farmer’s markets, an exercise path and outdoor play areas for children.
